Why this site?
When I first started getting serious about buying a boat and sailing the Bermuda1-2, I - naturally - browsed the web for information. Not Vendee Globe sites but "regular" people putting together a boat on a modest budget and going out racing. I found a few sites - most of which have since been taken down. They were a source of inspiration.
Yes, it is doable. Hopefully I too can inspire somebody to take the plunge.
