Tools & Acknowledgments
[last updated 2006-02-11]
I am by no means a web-developer, graphics artist or anything like that. So when I developed this site I relied on various tools and resources. In no particular order:
TextMate
A great text editor for Mac OS X. I use it for my Python programming, html, CSS, pain test, etc. It is not free but well worth the money.

Photo Drop
I use Photo Drop to automate the generation of of thumbnail photos. The thumbnails I user are not just miniature version of the larger pictures - they are resized and cropped. Piece of cake. Free download - donate if you use it.

QuickName
I use QuickName to quickly rename (hence the name ..) picture files. This makes turning the digital camera generated file names into photo_nnn.jpg a snap. Free.

Lightbox.js
The lightbox effect used on the thumbnails is based on the lightbox.js code. I actually use lightbox_plus.js which is based on the same code. Free.

Blue Robot
When I first started playing with CSS for layouts I found the Blue Robot layout reservoir a great help. Free.

Google Video
I user Google Video to host my video clips. That way I don't kill my bandwidth in 2 days. Free.

Silkscreen Font
I've used Jason Kottke's Silkscreen Font in a few places. Free.
